We at Valley Postal Inc are working to make our site www.valleypostalinc.com accessible to people with disabilities.

At Valley Postal Inc., we are committed to providing a website experience that is welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to all visitors, including individuals with disabilities. We believe every guest should be able to access our online content with ease and confidence.

We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website and to align with generally recognized accessibility best practices. We are working to study public-facing businesses standards to provide accessible web content under the ADA, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are the widely used technical benchmark for accessibility.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2  guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of [ AA  ]. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use.

As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site 

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

Accessibility arrangements in the store

We had our location at 801 Oakdale Rd Ste A3 in Modesto CA 95355 from our exterior to our interior we have carefully and thoughtfully constructed our fixtures with ADA compliance in mind.
 

  • Accessible parking spaces are available directly in front of our store.

  • The sidewalk is wheelchair accessible and the ramp flows up from the parking lot directly in front of the store.

  • Our main entrance is accessible with a 32 inches of clear width a door that can be propped open for longer than 5 seconds.

  • Our Interior Aisles & Displays are at least 36 inches wide and are able to accommodate wheelchairs. High-reach items are reachable, our staff would also happily assist if there is anything out of reach. No "grab & go" displays are currently obstructing pathways.

  • Our one restroom although it is not open to the public is accessible for employees and drivers is fully accessible with a 60-inch turning diameter, appropriate grab bars, and have a seat height of  17 inches.
