At Valley Postal Inc., we provide in-store packing and shipping services through third-party carriers, including USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Shipping services are subject to carrier availability, carrier rules, destination restrictions, and applicable law.

Shipping Policy - Basics

1. Shipping Services
We offer packing, labeling, postage, carrier selection assistance, declared value options, and related shipping support at our Modesto store. Carrier options may vary based on package size, destination, contents, timing, and service availability.

2. Delivery Estimates
Any delivery dates or transit times provided in-store, by phone, by email, or through our website are estimates only. Delivery is handled by the selected carrier, and Valley Postal Inc. does not guarantee carrier delivery times.

3. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate recipient and return address information,

  • Ensuring all shipment contents are legal and allowed by the selected carrier,

  • Disclosing fragile, perishable, high-value, restricted, or hazardous contents when presenting a package for shipment,

  • Reviewing shipping details before completing the transaction.

Valley Postal Inc. reserves the right to refuse any shipment that appears unsafe, improperly packaged, prohibited, or not in compliance with carrier or legal requirements.

4. Carrier Rules and Restrictions
All shipments are subject to the terms, conditions, and restrictions of the selected carrier. Certain items may be prohibited, restricted, delayed, or require special handling.

5. Loss, Damage, or Delay
Once a shipment is accepted by the carrier, responsibility for transportation is governed by the carrier’s terms. Claims for loss, damage, or delay are subject to the carrier’s claim procedures, deadlines, and liability limits. Valley Postal Inc. may assist customers with basic claim documentation, but approval and payment of claims are determined by the carrier.

6. Declared Value / Insurance
Declared value or carrier coverage, if purchased, is subject to the carrier’s terms and exclusions. Customers are responsible for choosing the level of coverage they want at the time of shipment.

7. No Shipment Guarantee
Valley Postal Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays, weather events, customs holds, address errors provided by the customer, delivery exceptions, or other events outside our control.
